REVIEW: ♡ I heart Strapless Fashion ♡

I love that it's finally starting to get warm out which means I can wear pretty dresses out. If you know me, you know I've never really warmed up to wearing dresses. I was never really comfortable wearing them before I lost my weight and started eating healthier but ever since I lost the 30 lbs I've become obsessed with wearing pretty dresses! Obsessed!! 

I got this pretty dress from Sabo Skirt on my last birthday and it has the most darling heart cutout in the back....which of course means you need to have a special kind of bra to wear with it or it's just not going to look right. Which is why I was SOOO thrilled to get an email from Audrey from Strapless Fashion inquiring if we would love to review one of their lovely strapless backless bras! I, of course, said yes!!  I decided to choose their Flowery Lace one because of course it's so girly and pink which you can see below.

It comes in a cute little plastic snap together compartment perfect for storing it when you're not using your bra. It also comes with little pieces of plastic (which you can see in the photo above peeking out from the edges of the bra cups!) to protect the stickiness of the bras too so it keeps it clean and sticky for the next time you use it.

They're super comfortable and easy to put on. You just stick them on. I start off from the bottom and pull up slightly to get a little oomph when I put them on and then attach the middle clasp which is super easy...you just slide the two pieces together and voila! I never would have thought something backless and strapless could be SO comfortable. You actually forget you have them on and you get such a lovely profile and extra oomph with them on which I didn't think you could get with a bra like this. I'm wearing mine with my gorgeous heart backed dress below...and see if you can spot Mr. Pineapple in the pics below...he quite liked his closeups! (Believe it or not Mr. Pineapple is the very first pineapple I've ever bought so I thought I'd have some fun in these photos by including some pics of the soon to be pineapple smoothie!! lol....)

Pardon the slightly blurry images...I'm in search of a new camera to replace my old stone age one...giggle....so I can have super fabulous professional looking photographs on my blog soon. I'm really starting to get into photography. I think I've found a new passion to obsess over along with my beauty brand! *wink* Oh, but there are SO many different brands of cameras out there to choose from, aren't there?! If any of you wonderful peeps have any suggestions about the type/brand of camera I should check out let me know in your comments. I would love to hear your suggestions and ideas! *wink*

I have to say I'm totally in love with this strapless bra...I adore it and I know I'll definitely be getting another one when this one has been thoroughly used! I've been meaning to post this editorial for awhile now but never seem to have enough time. So many things to do especially when you run a company like me and now am delving into the realm of being a beauty/lifestyle blogger! It's a lot of work but SO much fun learning about new companies and getting to try out their products so you peeps can learn more about them. I'm going to be reviewing some of our own items too for you! 

I'm even thinking about adding in flower crowns to our beauty products! I've become obsessed with them. I LOVE flower crowns and think you babes would love them too. But first I think I need some down time...it's a lot to do even for this girl and that's where this editorial comes in. I could use some down time in a luscious suite with room service...oh, yes, lots and lots of room service!!

They are most definitely my kind of brand. I love that they're based in Britain! There seems to be some gravitational pull...that or it's just an awesome sense of style...that keeps pulling me over to the lovely land of England for fashion and lingerie. I HIGHLY suggest you check out their site. They have excellent customer service and shipping as well.

So here it is in all it's sparkly mermaid glory! I LOVE this dress. It's perfection. I got it in an XS and it fits perfectly. No zipper, just step right into it and pull up! You look gorgeous babe. *grin*  Looks like I'm ready for a night about town with this sparkly number which calls for some rockin' music..."If you love it like I love it and you feel what I feel inside...this is LOVE...this is LOVE...Yeah...Yeah..." *wink*

Review ♡ Rimmel London Moisture Renew Lipstick & Firmoo! ♡

I think if I ever was asked what one item would you take with you to a tropical island...it would probably be lipstick! lol...  I have a healthy obsession with lipsticks. I'm always up to try out a new one so when @Influenster sent me one I was a happy girl!

I usually go for pinks and purples but this red one really works well with my skin tone. The packaging is great...like I said I LOVE the color purple of the tube and the lipstick itself is great...very moisturizing, brilliant in color and has lovely staying power. I definitely give it two thumbs up. Just be careful when applying it as it can feather just a bit on the edges. It might be a good idea to use a lip brush for absolute precision when applying. This is the third product I've used from Rimmel since being introduced to it by @Influenster and I'll definitely be keeping an eye on.

Speaking of eyes! Will you check out these new red tortoise shell eyeglasses I got?! I don't usually like wearing glasses but these are pretty cool. I got them from Firmoo.com and I definitely think you should check them out. They're a great company. It only took 2 weeks to get my glasses made and shipped out to me. I'm pretty happy. I feel very geek chic in them. *dimple*  By the way, that's the Rimmel As You Want Veronica Lipstick I'm wearing!

♡ Nordstrom: MAD FOR BRAD | Brad's 6 Spring Styling Tips ♡

Oh, Brad you have my heart! I love your style and every single Kate Spade outfit in this video. The matchy matchy lemon outfit is PERFECT for Spring. I've got to get something with lemons on it asap peeps....asap! I'm in love with the houndstooth dress and bright pink purse too...well, really I could wear EVERYTHING he styles in this photoshoot. Get comfy and get some awesome spring tips peeps. ♡

♡ My Favorite Spring Hair Trends ♡

You know, I'm not sure I would actually call myself trendy. I love looking at all the trends that pop up from season to season but I don't always adhere strictly to trends. For example, bobs are in trend right now but I'm not so sure I would look good with short hair so that's a trend I'd stay away from myself but I think looks gorgeous on other peeps. Basically, I keep my eye on trends but go for what feels right for my look as you'll see below peeps.

Here are some of the trends that I'm loving!  First up...ultra straight hair by Chloe!! I've actually been on a quest to get super straight hair ever since a little perm fiasco when I was seven but don't worry you'll hear all about that in an upcoming post about my new Misikko Hana Elite Flat Iron. You'll want to read that one...that Flat iron is awesome!

Are flowers in your hair & pretty braids ever not a good thing? I think not! I ADORE Dolce&Gabanna already and these photos below just make me love them even more!! I mean, look at those pretty fleurs & the darling braids. That's pure magic.



Of course, rounding up my favs we have waves...I always love a pretty beachy wave! (Surfer Girls rock!), low ponies (so simply yet sophisticated and pretty) and pretty little bobs like Taylor's. It must be SO much easier to tame that mane what with it being short and all. I know my hair is a pain in the patootie to style but I do SO love long beachy CALI surfer girl hair! I just can't help it. *dimple*

Now, for me I kind of mixed trends and my own style below. Like I said, I LOVE straight hair and thanks to my Hana Elite Flat Iron I can now have healthy looking, ultra shiny straight hair like below. (Happy Dance!) but I also look fabulous with bangs so I just recently got them trimmed. I believe really, really short bangs are trending right now, but I look so much better with longer bangs so that's definitely not a trend I'd do.

Of course, I LOVE mermaid waves and what with my pretty @MotelRocks Gabby Sequin Dress on below it was just screaming for them to complete the look. Don't they look pretty?  What's your favorite spring trend for hair? Are you planning on doing up your hair like any of these pretty dos?

Review ♡ STEAMCREAM: Simply Precious! ♡

I love cremes. I love...love...love them! So when I came across this fabulous brand STEAMCREAM I knew I wanted to try their brand. The first thing that always captures my heart is packaging...I LOVE pretty packaging which I'm sure you knew....giggle... and they don't disappoint with their adorable tins! 

This little beauty traveled all the way to me from the UK where the crème itself is made and the vast array of pretty tin designs are actually done up in Japan. I decided to choose their “Precious” themed tin because it's in my favorite two colors, pinks and purples and it has little posies all over it...perfect for Spring. Oui! The little tins are made from aluminum and definitely keep the product itself fresh and no leaking at all if you're worried about carrying it in your purse. And after I use up my lovely crème, I can use the tin for storing anything like sweet little bobby pins, or even small jewelry to bring with me in my purse.

The crème itself is so lovely...it has a cool feeling to it and is shiny and white to look at. The consistency is that of almost like pudding but a more luxurious silky pudding if that makes sense. It smooths on perfectly, really moisturizes your skin and soaks in wonderfully & fast. The smell you ask? I thought you'd never ask! It smells of lavender and herbal romantic summer nights. Yep, that's what it reminds me of. It makes me daydream about hot summer nights...almost dusk walking hand and hand with a handsome fella smelling oh, so lovely & girlish. Le sigh...such a lovely scent. I really love it and I'm not really an herbally type of girl.

You may be asking why do they call themselves Steamcream, well quite simply because they use steam to emulsify their crème! How fancy smancy! Here's their description from their website.

Pretty darn neat if you ask moi! And you know what else is fabulous? You can use this crème on your face, hands and body and it's acceptable for all skin types. Booyah! I mainly use it on my face...it really makes me feel refreshed and doesn't break me out at all. Believe me, my skin is pretty darn sensitive so I was relieved when it didn't effect my skin except in a good way...moisturizing and plumping up my skin. I also love to use it on my hands as they can get quite dry after washing them. It's also Vegan! Bonus for all you Vegan peeps out there and they don't test on animals.

Well, hello Wednesday! It's been quite a busy and frustrating couple of weeks and frankly you could call me Sleeping Beauty for the amount of hours I've logged in catching up on sleep. Ha!
