It's been so busy in the beauty lab lately...making up tons of holiday beauty potions for our peeps around the world and even adding some bling to our line...(pssst...if you haven't friended our company up at Facebook go do it now! So you all know we LOVE Marilyn Monroe and we adore Chanel No. 5 ......so when we came across this fabulous video on Facebook we knew it had to go up on our blog. It highlights the history between Marilyn & Chanel No. 5.... so fabulous! Enjoy peeps. It's always good to learn something new at least once or twice a day I say.

First let's start with her name...you may know her as Margarita, in fact you often call her that but her name is actually Regina and yes, that's Latin for Queen though she's really more of a princess. lol...  You can call her Gina! *wink*

She's a Capricorn who loves sci-fi kick ass adventure shows/movies, loves pizza (the more cheese the better!!), adores music from all eras (though she does have a penchant for dance pop music!), and even though she's never been to California she's just a sunshine, palm tree Cali kind of girl at heart who hopes to one day make her way over there. *wink* And yes, she can be a bit of a primadonna! *wink wink*

She loves Fashion  though that wasn't always the case. After improving her eating habits...she finally lost the 27 lbs that have been her arch nemesis since...well, forever! Bwahahaha, take that! Pow! Wham! Bam! lol. It feels good to be healthy!  *wink wink* Kidding aside it was the hardest thing she's ever conquered, but conquer it she did. Whew! She can be a bit of a tomboy too. She loves her jeans & t-shirts.

Besides creating her fabulous line of beauty potions at Margarita Bloom? Probably be a model! She's always wanted to travel the world to Paris, London, sunshine filled beaches, dreamy mysterious castles, wear gorgeous fashions...make tons of money....of course who wouldn't? If only fairy godmothers existed...le sigh...*wink wink*

Pretty Bouffant Hair please! Makeup artist with pretty pastel or bold pinks lipsticks...definitely! A whole slew of yummy fashions to wear from hot pink dresses to mint green jeans...oh yes! Shoes in pinks, reds, blacks, yellow, even polka dots!!....well, you had me at shoes...giggle...  

Oh, yes that sounds quite delightful...everyone should have their own glam powered photo shoot to make them feel oh, so flirty and fabulous!

Hey peeps! It's Saturday..oops Sunday now!...and I took a day off...gasp! What!? I know...I never take a day off...it's always work, work, work here but I soooo needed it. Nothing but comfy pillows and warm showers today. *wink* And I can see you guys have been resting up too...it's been awfully quiet lately in the twitter, facebook world...I can just imagine some of you peeps are squeezing as much out of the summer as you can before you have to go back to school...ahh, if only going back to school was like those picturesque commercials we always see, huh? Fabulous back packs, newly shined sneakers and all your friends skipping up the school steps with you to eagerly start their first day back....I think somebody had a little too much caffeine who wrote those commercials...giggle.. 

But I digress...I came across this awesome video by Lisa Eldridge on how to create Marilyn's makeup look and thought you'd like to see it too! It's amazing how much time went into putting on her makeup!

The Beauty Doctor says it's time to do a little daydreaming about your dream bathroom! 

So you're trying to re-design your lovely bathroom but find you can't get past what color you want to go with. Cream? Yellow? Something dark? Red? Pink? Well, how about silver!! I know you're thinking silver...isn't that just grey? lol... Take this bathroom above....whites and silvers abound...it's simple, yet oh, so very opulent! Clean white walls, gorgeous wood floors and the most magnificent silver tub!!

 I'm really, really loving that mirror...it's kind of giving it a fairy tale vibe, don't you think? I know I'd certainly feel like a fairy tale princess if I owned that lovely bath tub. *wink wink*

What's really cool (no pun intended!) about the color silver is it can one second be modern and sleek while on the other hand be opulent, ornate and classic. The color silver itself is actually associated with the moon, it's mysterious, calming, very sophisticated and glamorous! Mmm, all adjectives I'd want in my bathroom, thank you very much! 

And of course you'd need some pretty potions to go with this lovely bathroom....I'd suggest our "Moon Goddess" Potions in our Aphrodite's Heaven Collection...amber, ginger and seductive florals. Time to get your pampering on, peeps!!! Get to it!

And that's exactly how I love my bathrooms to look. 

I love this bath boudoir....my favorite parts are the gorgeous chandelier...

you just have to have a beautiful, sparkly, eye catching, chandelier in a bathroom. It's a must in my book.

I'm an absolute sucker for claw foot tubs. Period. What about you? 

Big windows. Lots of light. FABULOUS shower stall. I'd say this is a five star bathroom. Do you like the dark plum color on the walls or do you prefer something lighter? Myself, I usually prefer a lighter look but I have to say the plum goes very well in this room since there is so much natural light.  I adore that gilded towel holder on the wall...tres chic idea!!

Can't you just imagine perching daintily on that PLUSH plum chair and smoothing in some of our Smitten Kitten Shirley Sweet Pea Body Oil from it's gorgeous spray glass bottle? I know I can! *wink wink*

   Inspired much pretties? I adore the mirrors on the wall behind the sink (oh, how I love that sink and all the antique fixtures and the floor!!!) Those mirrors really make the space spectacular and quite bigger I think. I love the use of the white curtain...somehow it makes it so much more chic, doesn't it? And that TUB...would you look at it! I'd spend so much time in that tub I'd be a raisin! ...giggle... Plus, that tub copper fixture is to die for!

What do you think peeps? Is this a bathroom you'd pamper yourselves in with our beauty potions? *wink wink* I definitely give it two thumbs up!

I adore the red walls and that bathtub is tres unique! I'm not usually into such a modern bathtub, but I do believe I likey! That chandelier so makes that room!

Beauties, are you having a delicious weekend? 

It's Spring...or more like Summer where I live and I'm LOVING it. I just want to wear oh, so vibrant colors on everything I can...tangerine on my pouty lips, HOT pink tops, brilliant YELLOW strappy heels, bright blue purses and everything in between....don't you? 

Honey bunnies, I have to tell you a secret...I've never worn colored jeans...nope only blue jeans. Gasp! After seeing these luscious sunshine yellow jeans & even those gorgeous green heels I just can't resist. I have to have them. It's like a lemon lime twist of heaven these fashion ensembles...oh, what inspiration for beauty potions.
